About the blogger

Matt Kuhns founded Modern Alchemy in 2006. In his always-eventful career as a designer, he has worked for a family planning organization, a private university, a boutique design studio and a craft products retail chain, as well as various nonprofit institutions and several advertising agencies. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Iowa State University, and enjoys history, travel, comics, fine spirits and running (or did until those knee problems).
